This is a mockup redesign of the Illusion Museum in New York City. This design was intended to reflect the deceptive nature of illusions by playing on the history of illusions created with simple repetitive lines as seen throughout time.
I decided to create a similar color palette but instead use a blue with a greener tint. I wanted to find an interesting way the logo could be used to make patterns for future advertising. I struggled with deciding on a logo at first because there were so many directions I wanted to go in.
I felt that this design would hold through time and be very adaptable to patterns, color, and imagery, making great stationary and merchandise design. It captures the museum's essence in its simplistic details that subtly deceive our eyes.
